The document has been produced by the Presidents of the British Hip Society and the British Orthopaedic Association. It has also been agreed with the Presidents of the Academy of American Orthopaedic Societies, the American Orthopaedic Association, the Canadian Orthopaedic Association, the Australian Orthopaedic Association, the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association, and the South African Orthopaedic Association.
