The BHS Instructional course was set up with the aim of providing a comprehensive, FRCS (Orth) syllabus and evidence-based update on topics related to hip surgery. This course is aimed at trainees preparing for the FRCS (Orth) exam and also for trainees who want to develop an interest in hip surgery. It runs on an annual basis adjacent to the BHS annual scientific meeting. Topics rotate yearly to cover the entire FRCS syllabus over a three-year cycle and include Applied Clinical Knowledge, Trauma & Revision, and Young Adult Hip.
