24th November 20:00
As mentioned in the October and November newsletters, we are hosting a webinar on the 24th November at 20:00 GMT to update and discuss revision hip networks. We are being increasingly challenged by GIRFT and, more recently, by our members on why there is no progress in the world of hip surgery. We will be joined by Tim Briggs from GIRFT, Paul Baker, who is now leading the Revision Knee Working Group, and will have talks on the BHS progress and research, revision numbers, the impact of periprosthetic fractures, and guidance in this area, as well as discussing the formation of a Revision Hip Working Group to help develop hip networks over the next few months. We welcome all hip surgeons whether or not you are a BHS member or not so please do share this link with suitable colleagues.
It is an emotive and potentially divisive topic, but we are committed to ensuring our members are involved in the process while also supporting them to ensure they are able to offer their patients the best possible care. Please join us and come with your questions. We will do our best to answer them. Register HERE
